Reclaimed Slatted soap Dish

These natural wood soap dishes are our standard deck size of 3" x 4" with 3 top slats that are approximately 3/8" thick. Each top slat has a very nice and smooth round over, giving this soap dish a very soft and elegant look. These soap dishes are made of a colorful mix of reclaimed white oak, red alder and hickory.

We are often asked, what do you mean by 'reclaimed' wood?  We work with a local lumber mill that collects edge trim scraps of oak, alder and hickory from their milling operations, and then they mill the scrap edges into the slats for this soap dish.  All the wood used for these soap dishes would have otherwise been ground up into sawdust, shipped off to China and turned into particle board.

 These soap dishes are proudly handcrafted in Redmond, Oregon USA.  Unlike cheap soap dishes that are put together with metal pins that can loosen up and separate as the wood is repeatedly saturated with water and dries out...these soap dishes are made with a professional strength superglue that WILL NOT come apart.  If one of these ever comes apart, simply reach out to us, and we will replace it with no questions asked.
